I like the idea of the seating area in front with the couches and such but everything was dirty and dingy, windows hadn't been washed at all. Was a little surprised at a bread place that bagels were not on the menu. There was not any creamer or sweetener out, when I asked I was told "oh there's some milk there in the beverage fridge, help yourself." There was 1 carton of name brand half and half, empty of course. The coffee coming out was luke warm at best, straw wrappers and old napkins laying around. The "serve yourself" coffee area was a joke. I looked back into the kitchen area where food is prepped and that was the same, food and spills all over the floor and trash thrown about. There were garbage cans everywhere overflowing, flies everywhere, dirty gloves on the floor, there was visible dirt and debris all over the counter tops and in the glass windows on display cases, looks like those haven't been cleaned in years. There is no way the health department would give this place a pass in its current state. What am I missing here with all the great reviews? Visited in July 2021 while in town on vacation and I kind of couldn't believe what I saw. On the UP side - we burned off some calories fighting off all the flies!! LOL More We had to fight them away the whole time we were eating! Gross!! Although the food was good, we didn't feel the need to return while we were in the area. We were, however, somewhat distracted by all the BIG FLIES who showed up the same time our food did. The sandwiches finally arrived as well as our huge fresh iced cinnamon roll. No staff ever checked on us paying customers still waiting for our meal. What was that all about? One of the kitchen staff came to check on her and let her know she didn't have anymore for her to do so she left. While we were waiting, there was a lady at the table next to ours weighing and packaging Dog Treats into speciality bags with special printed labels. It took a really long time to get our sandwiches. There were creamers and sweeteners available (no Splenda packs). So my husband pumped my cup full and then pumped another 30-40 times to fill his cup. it malfunctioned yesterday - "don't know what happened - just keep pumping - it's full". Explained to the cashier the one thermos was empty.
